Follow the story of one man's fulfillment of a boyhood dream. Growing
up in Pakistan, Dr. S. Amjad Hussain always dreamed of exploring the
Indus River. Between 1987 and 1996, the respected surgeon and
newspaper columnist undertook a series of journeys to the Indus,
culminating in an expedition to locate its source high in the
Himalayas. The program follows Dr. Hussain, his sons and their
American friends as they experience the incredible mountain vistas and
scenic beauty of the Pakistani mountains and Arabian Sea on a trek to
the source of the Indus in Tibet.
