Join the united struggle against Mega Dams and canals on Indus

Say NO to dams and canals!

Speak out for water rights along the Indus River

and support Water for life only !

The Indus River flows through the heart of Sindh currently province of
Pakistan, and the livelihood of its citizens depends on it for drinking
water, irrigation, and employment.

“An Ecological Disaster” Dam and canal projects upstream of the Indus River
have created a man-made water shortage that has devastated the province of
Sindh. The World Conservation Union (IUCN) described the environmental
condition of Sindh’s Indus Delta as “on the brink of an ecological
disaster". Yet in spite of the environmental and social consequences that
additional water projects along the Indus will bring, the government insists
on continuing the process. The proposed construction of the Kalabagh Dam
and completion of the Thal Canal are the latest threats to the Indus River
and to the Sindhis of Sindh.
