Commemoration of the 101st birthday of G. M. Syed, a leader who waged
a nonviolent struggle against Islamic fundamentalism and for the
emancipation of Sindh, a sufi country that is now a province in
Pakistan. Program includes short presentations about growth in
poverty, persecution of religious minorities, and environmental
devastation in Sindh under Pakistani rule. Music, refreshments and
