Soc,Heritage: Sindhi Sayeen...

My name is Lav Ahuja ( 24/m) from Kolhapur India. I proud to say that
i completed my primary and secondary schooling in Sindhi Medium and in
SSC i was 15th in merit list in 5 districts.

I live in sindhi camp called Gandhinagar , Kolhapur. Population of
around 15000 sindhis. I love sindhi culture and sindhi people the
most. We have a traditional sindhi family so i got opprotunity to know
some facts about life of sindhis in Pakistan as my grandfather Hasomal
Ahuja was from Pakistan Karmana village.

Since a long time i have an idea that as i live in sindhi camp. I
should take interviews of almost all the Elders ( BUZURG)
personalities who know about our (sindhis) lifestyles in pakistan.  I
have an idea to record there voice and have audio tapes. But video
recording is the best option atleast the next generation can see those
movies and see how there ancestors were there. As these 2-3 yrs only
the old generation of 1930 to 1945 is going to survive and with them
whole of our history gets vanished.

I don't have video camera. This is the reason i have to postpone the
recordings and i am loosing the old generation also as they are
passing away. I have interviewed 4 persons and have audio recording of
1 hr each.  Lets see i need vedio camera and hope i will get soon and
continue this and have some contribution towards History of Sindhi
Culture.

I love to hear from Top Sindhi Personalities, I want to do something
for Sindhi Culture . I will be very happy if you give me guidance to
do some more avtivities at my place or if i can do something for the
sindhi cultural programs or activites carried out by you.
