The postings by Deepak and Satu are interesting and intriguing. The
Sindhis are in many countries all over the world but they are world
citizens and are loyal to the lands they live in. However, they are
moving away from their culture, as Deepak says, and as we observe
everywhere. The reason is simple: They want to be part of change.

Sindhi culture has no parallel. It believes in supernatural. Its
ideals are beyond the frontiers of this world's life. They may be
Hindus or Muslims, but they are not accepted as such, because they are
true to Om or Ahad both meaning One and Only One, without a parallel
or a partner. Swami [Saami] said so, Kanwar sang such, Latif liked
that and Sachal was the most outspoken. The difference was in
language.

The lament is that we have begin to think in material terms. If may be
true for our existence in a state but globally we must demonstrate
`unity of humanity'. The centrifugal forces are given way to
centripetal forces. Everything is converging to a point. We are still
wandering on the periphery. Where has the binding force of language
and lore gone. Language is used for political objectives and the lore
is sung on distant tunes.

Think of the preservation of true culture.
