Friends interested in this subject may want to meet saiin Dodo Mehri
at the Sammelan this weekend.  His organization, Sindh Taraqi Pasand
Party, has been the most influential local group fighting to secure
freedom for bonded farmers in Sindh.  Dr. Mehri has suffered more than
13 years of imprisonment and torture in Pakistani jails because of his
struggle for greater rights for Sindhis, and is currently visiting US
on the invitation of Washington DC based Torture Abolition and
Survivors Support Committee (TASSC).
