respected agha sahib and others sindhis,
i am quite encouraged from your writings about the concept of sufism.
would you please give some more food for thought about the subject.
what i always think about sufism that Sindhi sufism is some what
different from the sufism in general. I hardly believe that s.sufism
is one of the sect of Islam but i believe that sufism was having
already in practice in Sindh by different means, before the coming of
so-called Islam. for e.g. a sign of love, peace and respect we use
even today while raising both hands together, is being practiced in
the lands of Buddha or around that region, up to date. it might have
been used in old times, hence there is connection between today and
ancient times when there was no existence of Islam. what i see
practically today that only Sindhis believe in co-existence and feel
happy to be with all people from different religions, but not the
others.
i will appreciate your guidance in this connection
