Dear  friends and countrymen of Sindh !
I agree with Sonal Ramchandani’s posting that a good number of books on
Sindhi culture must be available at all Sindi functions for sale, and
participnats be encouraged to buy, order, read and even gift them.
BUT I have a question>
There are in many cities, Sindhi Associations, and in some cities, more than
one Sindhi Association. DO these Associations keep such good books on Sindhi
culture, to make them available to their members? I doubt it. I have been
associated  with 2 Sindhi Associations in the past. They never kept any such
books . Possibly, I am wrong, and judging by my own rotten experience.
However I am prepared to check, if someone will give me Email addresses of
all Sindhi Associations, and I could ask them all,  for list of books they
keep and  lend.
Does anyone have the E Mail a addresses of Sindhi Associations, or are they
available in some archives at internet? I promise to make available the
result of the poll.
Meanwhile, here is a suggestion to all Sindhi Assocations wherever you are.
Keep books of Sindhi culture. The office bearers of the Association must read
them. A person must not be Chairman or President or  office-bearer just
because he is a jolly good fellow or has big bank account . That helps, but
better also to know about culture, and spread the knowledge around.
