I couldn't have said better. This debate has brought out certain opinions and
views and highlighted the hurdles and gaps that must be crossed and closed to
bring all Sindhis closer to each other. I think we need to go beyond such
debates and take some practical steps to achieve this goal.

Appealing to the Samellan organizers for opening it to Muslim Sindhis is
fine, but we have to do more. To go forward on this, my suggestion is that we
identify Muslim Sindhis and Hindu Sindhis in major metropolitan areas of
North America such as San Francisco, Toronto, LA, Chicago, Houston, New York,
Washington, DC and Dallas, who sincerely believe in this goal and are willing
to start a dialogue at the local level to come up with suggestions or
unifying Sindhis. Any other ideas?
