Her: Books on Sindh -SINDHI SAMMELAN & all Sindhi functions

Dear Rohit & Dear Sindhi Sammelan,

I like Rohit's message on Nadeem Jamali's suggestion that Sindhi
Sammelan should have books on Sindhi Culture.

Rohit makes some very good points about why Sindhi functions now or in
future must have books on culture. There is no scope to say more
except that the value of Sindhi function is lost much if such books
are absent. After the parties and speeches are forgotten, the books
will remain to remind.

However I think Sindhi Sammelan and others should ask someone or more
to bring books from India/Pakistan rather than incur heavy postal
costs. Buying at source will produce discounts, and to bring them is
safe & cheap in long run. In an earlier message, Thakur had estimated
airmail cost of RETURN OF THE ARYANS at Rs.100/. I think it may be
more than 150/ or more.

Rohit, I will say that your message on the need of Sindhis to have a
chance of reading books on Sindhi culture is very good.. I will add
though that Brochures published for Sindhi functions should also
include reviews of great books on Sindhi culture.
