Her: Books on Sindh

Friends,

Saiin Masood Lohar (malohar@hotmail.com) is the Projects Manager at
Oxford University Press (Karachi) and has been with us on SindhiNet
for quite some time.

While browsing through the press's website at http://www.oup.net.pk, I
found many books which would be of interest to Sindhis, and asked
saiin Lohar if it would be possible to make these books available to
sammelan attendees. I just received a copy of the following message
from him to make books available to friends attending the Florida
Sindhi Sammelan at a discounted rate. But some local (US)
organization has to work with him. Another possibility is that
friends can check out the website individually (search for keywords
like "Sind", "Sindh", "Sindhi", "Indus", "Karachi" etc.) and someone
could volunteer to collect orders and so on. Regional organizations
can also send orders on behalf of their members.

It'll also be useful if some friends could post brief reviews of OUP
books that they may already have in their collections, or provide
other help in selecting from these books.

cheers!

Nadeem
